Ahmedabad Resident Files Complaint Against Family for Rs 10 Lakh Housing Fraud

An Ahmedabad resident has filed a complaint with the Vejalpur police, accusing four individuals of fraud, abuse, and threats related to a housing scheme valued at approximately Rs 10 lakh. The complainant, who resides in Juhapura, stated that around five years ago, the accused promised to allot houses and shops near Amber Tower in Sarkhej under the Gujarat Housing Board scheme.

The complainant detailed that the accused collected deposits from many people, including the complainant and her relatives, by issuing fake receipts. Four members of a family residing in Juhapura have been named as the accused in the complaint. They are accused of collecting money from people under the pretext of allotting houses but never providing the promised properties.

Recently, when the complainant's son attempted to reason with the accused over the phone, they allegedly responded with derogatory language. They even threatened the complainant's family with dire consequences if they received another call from them. The FIR also states that whenever the complainant or her family inquired about the accused's details, they were abused and threatened.

The complainant further alleged that the accused deceived many others and forged documents for personal gain. She has requested a thorough investigation and legal action. Vejalpur police registered a case and began collecting statements from witnesses.
