CREDAI-MCHI Urges Online Access to Mumbai Property Database
In a concerted effort to improve transparency and efficiency in Mumbai's real estate sector, the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) Maharashtra Chapter (MCHI) and the Practising Engineers, Architects and Construction Industry (PEACI) have jointly urged the State Government to provide online access to the property database. This initiative aims to benefit homebuyers, developers, and urban planning professionals by streamlining property-related information and reducing bureaucratic delays.
The plea comes at a crucial time when Mumbai, India's financial capital, is witnessing rapid urbanization and a surge in real estate development. Access to a reliable and comprehensive property database is essential for ensuring that all stakeholders have the necessary information to make informed decisions. This move is expected to streamline the property buying process, reduce fraud, and enhance overall governance in the real estate sector.
According to CREDAI-MCHI President, the lack of accessible property information has long been a bottleneck in the industry.
