Dharmendra's Rs 450 Crore Legacy: Real Estate, Luxury Cars, and More

Dharmendra, fondly known as the ‘He-Man’ of Hindi cinema, passed away on November 24, 2025, after a prolonged illness. With a career spanning over 60 years and more than 300 films, he was one of the most loved and respected actors in the industry. Beyond his acting, Dharmendra also built an impressive business empire worth an estimated Rs 335–Rs 450 crore.

Dharmendra leaves behind a large and close-knit family. He is survived by his wives Prakash Kaur and Hema Malini, and six children: Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeta, Ajeeta, Esha Deol, and Ahana Deol. He was also a grandfather to 13 grandchildren, all of whom he loved deeply.

The property included lush gardens, horses, wellness areas, and farming facilities. It was his peaceful getaway from the fast-paced life of Mumbai. Apart from this, he owned multiple residential and commercial properties in Maharashtra worth over Rs 17 crore. His agricultural and non-agricultural land holdings also added significantly to his wealth. Reports suggested he had future plans to develop a luxury resort with around 30 cottages on part of his Lonavala land.

Dharmendra was known for his deep love for automobiles. His collection featured both modern luxury cars and vintage classics. Among his prized vehicles were a Mercedes-Benz SL500 and a Range Rover Evoque, both worth close to a crore. His collection also included older models like a Fiat he purchased in 1960, symbolizing his long-standing passion for cars.

Dharmendra also stepped into the hospitality industry with great success. He opened themed restaurants such as Garam Dharam Dhaba and He-Man, which became popular hangout spots for fans. These eateries were designed to celebrate his screen persona and offered a nostalgic experience for visitors. Their success added another strong revenue stream to his business portfolio.

Dharmendra’s contribution to cinema extended to film production as well. Through Vijayta Films, founded in 1983, he helped produce several hit movies like Betaab, Ghayal, and Barsaat. The banner became an important launching pad for members of the Deol family. Another venture, Deol Films, supported several film projects over the years. Dharmendra himself produced movies like Yamla Pagla Deewana, showing his dedication to filmmaking not just as an actor but as a creator and mentor.
