DLF Rental Business Appoints Deepti Kapoor as Head of HR

Deepti Kapoor has joined DLF Rental Business as Head of HR, marking a significant addition to the company's leadership team. She transitions from Cushman & Wakefield, where she served as Managing Director, Head of People & Culture for India, Southeast Asia, and APAC tenant representation since 2023.

Backed by over two decades of experience in strategic HR, Kapoor is renowned for her ability to build and lead high-performance teams. Throughout her career, she has worked with several notable organizations, including ING Vyasa Bank, HT Media, Aircel, and Grand Hyatt. She has also operated her own HR consulting firm, demonstrating her versatility and deep understanding of the HR landscape.

Kapoor holds a master’s degree in human resources from FORE School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University. Her professional journey began in August 2002 as an Assistant Manager in Human Resources at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Vasant Kunj. In May 2004, she moved to ING Vysya Bank as a Regional HR Manager, where she handled manpower planning, operations, branch visits, and audits.

In April 2005, HT Media brought her on board as Manager of HR, where she spent over five years managing HR operations and processes for an employee base of more than 350 employees. Following a brief stint as a Human Resource Consultant at Unitech, she joined Aircel in 2010 as Head of HRBP, Talent Management, and Organizational Development. Her tenure at Aircel spanned over six years, during which she significantly contributed to the company's growth and development.

From 2017 to 2022, Kapoor operated her own independent HR consultancy, Turiya Consulting, based in Gurugram. In July 2022, she took on the role of Head of Talent Management and Career Mobility at Max Life Insurance. A year later, she joined Cushman & Wakefield, where she successfully led the people and culture strategy across India, Southeast Asia, and parts of the APAC region, aligning talent priorities with enterprise growth ambitions.

In her latest assignment at DLF, the Indian real-estate company, Kapoor will continue to leverage her expertise in bringing out the best in people, a skill she is widely recognized for.
