Fly 91 to Launch Jalgaon-Indore Flight Service, Enhancing Central India Connectivity
Jalgaon: After successfully launching air services to Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Goa, and Hyderabad, Fly 91 is set to connect Jalgaon with Indore. This new service will enhance Jalgaon's connectivity with key commercial centers in Central India, providing a significant benefit to passengers.
Fly 91 currently operates flights between Goa, Pune, and Hyderabad. The airline, which operates ATR 72-600 aircraft, is planning to add three more aircraft to its fleet. This expansion will enable the company to connect new cities, and the demand for the Jalgaon-Indore route is particularly high. The airline is optimistic about the new service.
If the Jalgaon-Indore air service is launched, an eight-hour journey by road or train will be reduced to just one to one and a half hours. This will make travel to Jalgaon from Central India much easier and more convenient for tourists, traders, and students. Indore, a major commercial and industrial hub in Madhya Pradesh, has significant trade ties with Jalgaon, with many people traveling between the two cities daily.
Until now, the only options for traveling between Jalgaon and Indore were by train or road, which were time-consuming. The introduction of air travel will save a considerable amount of time, making it a more attractive option for both business and leisure travelers.
Jalgaon airport is equipped with night landing facilities and other state-of-the-art amenities. The availability of these infrastructural facilities has made it easier to expand air services. Following the launch of the Indore route, public representatives have been advocating for the start of flight services to Jaipur and Delhi. The demand for these routes is expected to increase, especially in view of the Kumbh Mela, a major religious festival that attracts millions of pilgrims.
The launch of the Jalgaon-Indore air service is a significant step towards improving regional connectivity and promoting economic growth in Central India. It will not only benefit the local population but also attract more tourists and investors to the region, contributing to the overall development of Jalgaon and Indore.
