GTA Online's 'A Safehouse in the Hills' Update: What to Expect

Grand Theft Auto Online is poised to get one of its biggest updates yet with 'A Safehouse in the Hills,' launching on December 10 across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

The latest update brings luxury mansions to Los Santos, giving high-level players an opportunity to own prime real estate in the game's most exclusive neighborhoods. These are no ordinary fancy houses, but fully customized criminal headquarters packed with features that will help players expand their in-game empires.

Properties from Prix Luxury Real Estate are loaded with premium features. Players will find: - Trophy Cabinets to show off achievements - A private Salon - Kennels for pets - An elegant new Garage with artistic lighting - An AI Assistant to help with tasks

For the business-oriented player, the mansions feature Production Boosts for businesses, courtesy of the AI assistant, and optional Private Security. Indoor Car Podium, Armory, and Vehicle Workshop are premium upgrades.

The update isn't all about real estate. Players can look forward to: - New action-packed missions centered around stopping a mass surveillance network (no mansion purchase required) - Multiple new high-end vehicles, including the Vapid FMJ MK V supercar - New Hao's Special Works compatible cars - Drift variants and Law Enforcement Vehicles

Compatibility of Missile Lock-On Jammer with more vehicles, also including non-weaponized aircraft.

One of the highlights is the new Mission Creator that allows players to create and publish their own missions using sophisticated gameplay mechanics, customized objectives, and placeable characters. Rockstar has also updated its Community Resources to ensure the game is kept fair and enjoyable to everybody.

GTA+ Members will receive early access to the Vapid FMJ MK V supercar for one week, plus special perks for mansion owners and the ability to manage staff remotely at certain businesses through The Vinewood Club App.

All players completing all three New Listings missions by December 7 will be eligible for Gold Tier, which grants players a $2 million discount on Prix Luxury Real Estate properties, the Black Rockstar Varsity Crewneck (arriving December 10), and a $1 million bonus within 72 hours. Even players who simply log in by December 7 get Black Tier rewards, including a free Übermacht Revolter sports car, a total value of up to $3 million in benefits.
