Hrithik Roshan's Family Invests Rs 27 Crore in Mumbai's Commercial Real Estate
Actor-director Rakesh Roshan and his wife Parmila Roshan, popularly known as Pinkie Roshan, have been making headlines with their latest property acquisitions in Mumbai’s bustling Andheri area. According to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards, the couple recently purchased five commercial office units in the Vaidya West World One Aeropolis building, at a total cost of Rs 19.68 crore. The transactions were officially registered on November 19, with all five units acquired from Vaidya Spaces Private Limited.
Breaking down the acquisitions, Rakesh Roshan bought the first two office units, valued at Rs 3.27 crore and Rs 2.83 crore, respectively. The first property offers a RERA carpet area of 1,259 sq ft and comes with two car parking spaces, while the second measures 1,089 sq ft with similar parking facilities. Registration charges for both properties were Rs 30,000 each, with stamp duty of Rs 19.64 lakh and Rs 16.98 lakh, respectively.
Pinkie Roshan acquired three additional units, priced at Rs 4.85 crore, Rs 5.28 crore, and Rs 3.43 crore, respectively. These offices feature carpet areas of 1,869 sq ft, 2,033 sq ft, and 1,322 sq ft, each accompanied by two parking spaces. Registration fees were Rs 30,000 per unit, while stamp duty amounted to Rs 29.15 lakh, Rs 31.71 lakh, and Rs 20.62 lakh for the respective properties.
In a related development, the Roshan family’s daughter, Sunaina Roshan, has also entered the commercial property market. She recently purchased two office units in the same Vaidya West World One Aeropolis building, worth a combined Rs 6.42 crore. The two units, located on the eighth floor, together cover a carpet area of 2,471 sq ft. Individually, they are priced at Rs 3.16 crore and Rs 3.26 crore, with registration fees of Rs 30,000 each.
Rakesh Roshan is known for directing iconic films like Khoon Bhari Maang and Krrish. Meanwhile, Sunaina Roshan is a film producer, further cementing the family's presence in the entertainment industry. This significant investment in commercial real estate not only highlights the family's financial acumen but also their strategic vision in diversifying their assets in one of Mumbai’s prime locations.
