IAAPI Announces 24th Amusement Expo 2026 in Mumbai: A Hub for Global Entertainment Innovation

The Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries (IAAPI) has announced the 24th edition of the IAAPI Amusement Expo 2026, scheduled to take place from 10–12 March at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai. Recognised as India’s premier B2B exhibition for the amusement, leisure, and entertainment industry, the expo is expected to bring together global leaders, innovators, and key stakeholders to explore the future of entertainment and experiential attractions.

The event is supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, under the Incredible India initiative, with Telangana Tourism and Madhya Pradesh Tourism participating as partner states.

Spread across 15,000 square metres of exhibition space, the three-day expo is regarded as Asia’s only focused technology show dedicated to the amusement and theme park sector. The event will feature a comprehensive showcase of the latest innovations, including amusement rides, water park slides, arcade technologies, and immersive digital attractions. More than 200 exhibitors from India and over 10 international markets will participate, with 43 new companies introducing innovative products and solutions. Participating countries include Australia, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

The expo will also host several concurrent events, including IAC Connect (Conference), a Networking Evening, and the IAAPI Awards & Gala Night Dinner, offering industry professionals opportunities for collaboration, recognition, and networking.

Ankur Maheshwari, Chairman of the Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries, said, “The Indian amusement industry is at an exciting inflection point, projected to double in size to INR 22,000 crore by 2030. With the 24th IAAPI Amusement Expo, we are not only showcasing cutting-edge innovation but also laying the foundation for the sector’s future. Through initiatives such as the Safety Conclave and IAC Connect, we aim to elevate operational standards and foster strategic partnerships that will drive sustainable growth. This expo reflects India’s rapid emergence as a global powerhouse in world-class leisure and entertainment.”

The Indian amusement industry has evolved into a high-growth sector that plays a crucial role in the country’s tourism economy. Driven by rising disposable incomes, rapid urbanisation, and increasing demand for world-class entertainment experiences, the sector continues to attract strong investment and innovation.

The IAAPI Amusement Expo is expected to attract investors and trade professionals from amusement and theme parks, adventure and water parks, indoor entertainment centres, resorts, real estate developers, mall operators, and hotel chains, while also presenting new ideas for creating integrated tourism destinations and recreational zones for families, children, and young audiences. This event is not just a showcase but a platform for the future of the amusement industry in India and beyond.
