Inside Deepinder Goyal’s Rs 52.3 Crore Ultra-Luxury Home in Gurugram’s DLF Camellias

Zomato co-founder Deepinder Goyal has officially registered a sprawling ultra-luxury apartment at DLF’s The Camellias in Gurugram, a prestigious address known for housing India’s elite. This high-end residential project is a symbol of luxury and has attracted some of India’s most influential figures.

Purchased in 2022 for Rs 52.3 crore directly from real estate giant DLF, the deal was registered in March 2025. The 10,813 sq ft apartment includes five dedicated parking spots and offers unmatched luxury in the heart of DLF Phase-5. With rising prices in this high-end enclave, a similar apartment now reportedly commands over Rs 140 crore, underscoring Goyal’s early investment foresight in one of Gurugram’s most exclusive residential projects.

According to documents accessed by Zapkey, Deepinder Goyal purchased the luxury apartment in August 2022, and the conveyance deed was executed on March 17, 2025. He paid a stamp duty of Rs 3.66 crore on the transaction. The apartment spans 10,813 square feet and comes with five parking spaces, reflecting the elite status and grandeur of The Camellias development. Real estate experts suggest that a similar-sized apartment in DLF’s The Camellias now sells for over Rs 140 crore, nearly three times the price Goyal paid three years ago.

The project has witnessed some of India’s most expensive property deals, showcasing how luxury real estate in Gurugram has become a magnet for the country’s top industrialists, startup founders, and CXOs.

This isn’t Goyal’s only high-profile acquisition. In February 2024, he reportedly purchased a Rs 50 crore plot in Mehrauli, Delhi, signaling his growing interest in prime real estate across Delhi-NCR. As the co-founder of Zomato and an IIT Delhi alumnus, Goyal’s property investments mirror his rise as one of India’s most influential entrepreneurs.

Spread across 17.5 acres, The Camellias in DLF Phase-5, Gurugram, is a symbol of elite living. Marketed as a 7-star living experience, the development has attracted India’s wealthiest, from startup founders to high-ranking executives. Many have even traded traditional Delhi bungalows for these nearly 10,000 sq ft apartments offering privacy, security, and unmatched lifestyle amenities.

In December 2024, Rishi Parti, founder of Info-X Software Technology, bought a penthouse for Rs 190 crore. In February 2024, a Singapore-based NRI sold a 10,000 sq ft unit to Smiti Agarwal, wife of Hemant Agarwal of V Bazaar Retail Pvt Ltd, for Rs 95 crore. In October 2023, an 11,000 sq ft resale apartment was acquired for around Rs 114 crore, a record-breaking deal that was compared to properties in Lutyens’ Delhi.

DLF initially sold The Camellias as bare-shell units in 2014 at Rs 22,500 per sq ft. In under a decade, prices have appreciated significantly, reflecting rising demand for ultra-luxury homes among India’s elite. The Camellias now stands as a benchmark in luxury real estate, not just in Gurugram, but across India.
