Kajol Leases Mumbai Office for Rs 6.9 Lakhs Monthly Rent, to Earn Rs 8.6 Crores in 9 Years

Actress Kajol has leased her office space in Mumbai’s Goregaon locality for a tenure of nine years. According to a report by Square Yard, at the end of nine years, the actress will earn Rs 8.6 crores through the deal. As per the registration documents, the office premises will be rented for Rs 6.9 lakhs monthly. The deal was officially registered this month, and the property is situated near key business and entertainment hubs.

As per the documents available on the Inspector General of Registration website, the property is located in Bharat Arize and has a carpet area of 1817 sq ft along with one car parking space. The stamp duty paid for this deal is Rs 5.61 lakhs, along with registration charges worth Rs 30,000. The property lease also involves a security deposit of Rs 27.61 lakhs.

The report in Square Yards further states that the rental agreement has been made for 9 years, starting from November 2025. In the first three years, the monthly rent for the property will be Rs 6.9 lakhs; after every three years, the rent will increase by 15 percent. So in the second slab of this deal, Kajol will receive a monthly rent of Rs 7.9 lakhs, and in the last leg of the rental agreement, the monthly rent for the property will be Rs 9.13 lakhs per month. So, the Bollywood actress will earn Rs 8.6 crores in total when the lease for the office space expires in 2034.

On the acting front, Kajol was seen in The Trial Season 2 recently. The show received a decent response from the audience. Before this, both her film’s Sarzameen and Maa, flopped. In 2026, Kajol will feature in the film Maharagni, which also stars Parbhudeva and Naseeruddin Shah in important roles. Other than this, Kajol is currently seen as a talk show host along with Twinkle Khanna for Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle. The show streams on Amazon Prime Video every Thursday at 8 pm.
