The Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Maharashtra, in collaboration with the Department of Registration & Stamps, officially launched the Online E-Registration of Property Agreements on September 3, 2025. With the new system, homebuyers and developers can complete the entire workflow digitally. From drafting agreements and e-KYC (Know Your Customer) to biometric verification, paying stamp duty and registration fees, and final registration, the process can now be managed from the comfort of one's home or office.
