Maharashtra to Set Up Fully Equipped Veterinary Hospitals in All Municipal Corporations

Pune: The Maharashtra government has taken a significant step towards improving animal welfare by directing all municipal corporations in the state to set up fully equipped veterinary hospitals. This decision comes after a review of the animal husbandry department’s 100-day action plan, where the chief minister noted the increasing population of stray animals in urban areas and emphasized the need for better veterinary facilities.
