The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has approved 435 housing projects across the state, a significant move for homebuyers and developers alike. These clearances involve an estimated investment of Rs 23,719 crore and are set to bring 32,981 homes to the market.

Vidarbha Gets Its Share

Of the total approvals, 32 projects are located in the Vidarbha region, giving a fresh impetus to cities such as Nagpur. This is expected to strengthen the local housing supply and offer more options to prospective buyers in the region.

The approvals come around Dussehra, a traditionally auspicious time for property purchases. For buyers, RERA registration ensures greater transparency, timely delivery, and better accountability from developers, making these projects a safer bet.
