Nahar Enterprises Expands into Real Estate: Q4 Profit Surges 92%
Nahar Industrial Enterprises Limited, a prominent player in the Indian industrial landscape, has been promoted by the Ludhiana-based Nahar Group. The group boasts other blue-chip companies such as Monte Carlo Fashions Ltd, Nahar Spinning Mills Ltd, and Oswal Woollen Mills. Established in 1983, Nahar Industrial Enterprises Limited started as a traditional textile enterprise and has since diversified into various sectors, including sugar, power generation, textiles, and now, real estate.
The company’s vertically integrated textile operation covers the entire spectrum of spinning, weaving, processing, and garmenting. It produces a wide range of products, including knitwear, fabrics, blended yarn, woven garments, and thermal wear. Production facilities are strategically located in Punjab and Madhya Pradesh, ensuring efficient supply chain management and high-quality output.
In response to the growing urban and industrial demand in Ludhiana and surrounding areas, Nahar Industrial Enterprises has recently diversified into the real estate sector. This move aims to leverage the underutilized assets owned by the company. The flagship project in this domain is the Nahar Industrial Park, located in Ludhiana. This project focuses on plotted industrial development, catering to the increasing demand for organized industrial spaces, particularly for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
This diversification into the real estate and industrial infrastructure sector is expected to be a game-changer for the company. The cyclical nature of the textile and sugar sectors necessitates a diversified portfolio to ensure stable and consistent growth. Another significant real estate project is the Oswal Logistics Park, situated at the Focal Point in Ludhiana. This warehousing and logistics infrastructure project is designed to support supply chain networks in Punjab, spanning around 40,645 square meters. It is expected to meet the growing demand for organized warehousing solutions in the region.
