NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen Launches Excelerate 2026: A Global Real Estate Conclave

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 30: At a time when India’s real estate sector is witnessing unprecedented investor interest and structural transformation, NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen is set to host ‘Excelerate 2026’, a one-day international conclave aimed at bringing together global and domestic stakeholders to deliberate on the future of real estate investment and financing in India. Scheduled to be held on April 2, 2026, at Trident Hotel in Mumbai, the event will bring together industry leaders, investors, policymakers, and financial institutions to examine emerging opportunities and long-term growth prospects for the sector.

The conclave will feature a theme address by Mr. Prashant Sharma, President, NAREDCO Maharashtra, while Mr. Vikas Jain, President, NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen, will deliver a special address highlighting the evolving role of new-generation leadership in shaping the industry’s investment landscape. The event will also include special addresses by Mr. Sandeep Runwal, Vice Chairman, NAREDCO Maharashtra; Mr. Rajan Bandelkar, Former Vice Chairman, NAREDCO India; Dr. Niranjan Hiranandani, Chairman Emeritus, NAREDCO Maharashtra; and Mr. Atit Shah, Hon’ble Secretary, NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen.

India’s real estate sector is experiencing strong growth driven by a decade of reforms since 2014, including RERA, GST rationalisation, and supportive RBI policies, which have improved transparency, governance, and investor confidence. These changes have led to record property sales and a steady rise in institutional investment, which has more than doubled in the past four years and is expected to double again in the coming four years. Foreign capital now contributes over half of total inflows, highlighting the growing global interest in India’s property market.

Public capital markets have also shown strong confidence in the sector. Real estate companies collectively raised over Rs 26,000 crore through public markets in the 12 months ending July 2025, while the sector accounted for nearly 15 per cent of cumulative net investments by Alternative Investment Funds, amounting to Rs 73,903 crore in FY2025. The emergence of REITs and other investment structures has further broadened the capital base available to developers and asset owners.

“India’s real estate sector has undergone a remarkable transformation over the past decade. Investor confidence, both domestic and international, is at an all-time high. Platforms like Excelerate 2026 will play a critical role in bringing together global and domestic stakeholders to exchange ideas, explore capital partnerships, and accelerate the next phase of growth for Indian real estate,” said Mr. Vikas Jain, President, NAREDCO Maharashtra NextGen.

Excelerate 2026 will feature a series of high-level panel discussions focusing on emerging capital sources, investment strategies, and future asset classes in real estate. Key sessions will include Family Offices – The Emerging Capital Pool for Indian Real Estate, Private Equity in Real Estate – Deals, Distress, and Deployment, Sustainability in Real Estate – Finance, Incentives & ROI, Branded Residences – The Next Frontier in Indian Real Estate, and REITs & InvITs – Unlocking Institutional & Retail Capital.

The event will also host an exclusive, invite-only gala dinner featuring a high-profile keynote speaker and curated networking opportunities aimed at fostering long-term collaborations between developers, investors, and financial institutions.

With an expected participation of more than 1000 delegates from across India and international markets, Excelerate 2026 aims to fill a crucial gap in the current industry conference landscape by focusing specifically on real estate financing and capital markets.

Industry leaders believe that with strong economic fundamentals, a growing urban population, and continued policy support, India’s real estate sector is well positioned to enter its next decade of sustained expansion, making platforms such as Excelerate 2026 increasingly relevant for shaping the sector’s future trajectory.
