Nashik DP 2035: 12,000 Hectares to Boost Real Estate

By GeoSquare News Desk · Published 2026-10-13

The Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has approved the draft Development Plan 2035, a move that will unlock around 12,000 hectares of land for residential and commercial projects. The plan is expected to give a major push to the city's real estate market, especially in established and upcoming belts.

What the Development Plan 2035 proposes

The new DP earmarks additional land for housing, commercial zones, and supporting infrastructure. With more land available for development, the supply of plotted layouts, apartments, and commercial spaces is likely to increase across Nashik.

Key areas to benefit

Localities such as Ambad, Satpur, and Gangapur Road are expected to see heightened activity. These areas already have good connectivity and social infrastructure, making them attractive for both end-users and investors.

Impact on property market

By expanding the city's development footprint, the DP 2035 is likely to improve land availability and moderate prices in the long run. Property buyers may get more options, while developers can plan larger integrated projects with better amenities.
