Property registrations in Nashik have recorded a 20% year-on-year increase in the last quarter, with the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) collecting over ₹100 crore in stamp duty. The growth reflects sustained demand from homebuyers and investors in the city's residential and commercial segments.
Ambad and Satpur lead the demand chart
Among the micro-markets, Ambad and Satpur emerged as the top contributors to the registration numbers. Both localities continue to attract buyers due to their proximity to employment hubs, improving social infrastructure, and availability of ready-to-move-in inventory across budget segments.
Infrastructure push and new development plan
The NMC's ongoing infrastructure projects and the proposed new development plan have strengthened buyer confidence. Better road connectivity, proposed civic amenities, and planned zone-wise development are expected to support sustained momentum in property transactions over the coming quarters.
Industry observers believe that the current trajectory will continue as more projects align with the revised development plan. With stamp duty collections crossing the ₹100-crore mark, Nashik is emerging as a key real-estate market in Maharashtra, offering a mix of affordability and growth potential.
