Nashik Ring Road Revival: Real Estate in Northern, Eastern Fringes

By GeoSquare News Desk · Published 2026-11-01

The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) has revived its plan for a 45-km ring road around Nashik, a move that is expected to reshape the city's real estate landscape. The project aims to connect major highways and decongest the existing road network, making peripheral areas more accessible.

Opening Up Northern and Eastern Fringes

The proposed corridor will pass through regions such as Dindori and Niphad, which have so far remained largely undeveloped. With better connectivity on the horizon, these belts are likely to attract both residential and commercial projects, including integrated townships near the proposed interchanges.

Land Prices Already Firming Up

According to local market observers, land prices along the proposed ring road have started rising in anticipation of the infrastructure push. Investors are eyeing parcels near the interchanges, expecting a repeat of the growth witnessed in other cities after similar ring-road projects.

While the project is still in the planning stage, the revival itself has generated fresh interest among developers. For homebuyers, the ring road could eventually mean more affordable housing options in the northern and eastern fringes, provided the project moves forward on schedule.
