NMC Approves 1,200-Unit Mixed-Use Housing Near Ambad MIDC

By GeoSquare News Desk · Published 2026-10-21

The Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has approved a new mixed-use housing scheme along Ambad Road, near the Ambad MIDC. The project will comprise around 1,200 residential units, with a focus on affordable housing for industrial workers.

Addressing Housing Demand in Satpur-Ambad

The Satpur-Ambad belt is one of Nashik's key industrial corridors, home to a large workforce employed across manufacturing and ancillary units. The new development is expected to ease the persistent housing demand in this pocket by offering compact, budget-friendly homes closer to workplaces.

Mixed-Use Development on Ambad Road

As a mixed-use scheme, the project is likely to include supporting commercial or retail spaces alongside residential blocks. This would allow residents to access daily conveniences without travelling far, adding to the area's liveability.

With NMC's approval in place, the project is expected to move ahead in phases. For property buyers and investors, the development signals continued momentum in Nashik's affordable housing segment, particularly in the industrial belt.
