NPCIL and Maharashtra Government Sign MoU for Nuclear Power Plants

Chennai, Nov 17 (UNI) Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company (MAHAGENCO) and Maharashtra Institution for Transformation (MITRA) to explore possibilities of cooperation in co-development of nuclear-based power generation plants in the western state.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis by Bhuwan Chandra Pathak, Chairman and Managing Director of NPCIL, Radhakrishnan B., IAS, Chairman and Managing Director of MAHAGENCO, and Aman Mittal, Joint CEO of MITRA.
