Odisha Developers’ Federation Launches to Promote Sustainable Real Estate Development
The Odisha Developers’ Federation (ODFED) was launched in Bhubaneswar on Friday with a vision to promote sustainable development and uphold industry best practices across the state. The launch event, which saw the unveiling of the official ODFED logo, symbolizes unity, innovation, and a shared vision for the urban transformation of Odisha.
During the launch, Pradipta Kumar Biswasroy, president of ODFED, emphasized the federation’s mission. “Our goal is to create a collaborative platform where developers, government agencies, and other stakeholders can work together to resolve ongoing issues and drive sustainable growth in Odisha’s real estate sector,” he said.
Biswasroy highlighted the federation’s commitment to ensuring that development practices not only meet but exceed industry standards. “We are dedicated to promoting a future where urban development is both innovative and responsible,” he added.
A key focus of ODFED is to enhance collaboration with key agencies such as the Odisha Real Estate Regulatory Authority (ORERA) and the housing and urban development department. “By working closely with ORERA and other stakeholders, we aim to streamline processes, enhance transparency, and ensure that the interests of all parties, including homebuyers, are safeguarded,” Biswasroy stated.
The event also announced the new governing body of ODFED, which will play a crucial role in implementing the federation’s vision and driving policy changes that benefit the industry and the community. Umesh Patnaik, secretary of ODFED, said, “The federation will host regular industry events, knowledge sessions, and public-private engagements to ensure inclusive and progressive growth.”
ODFED’s initiatives are expected to contribute significantly to the sustainable development of Odisha’s real estate sector, fostering a transparent and responsible environment for all stakeholders involved.
