Over 300 Companies Gather at Uddipan’s Two-Day Career Conclave in Pune
Pune, 13th December 2025: Uddipan, a skill development and job portal, organized a two-day Career Conclave 2025 – Mega Job Fair on December 11 and 12 at the Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM) campus. Held in collaboration with Ramanbyte Pvt. Ltd. and supported by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the conclave aimed to connect students from Pune district and across Maharashtra with recruiters from multiple industries.
The event saw participation from over 2,500 students from engineering, commerce, science, arts, and management streams. More than 300 companies, including large corporates, small and medium enterprises, and emerging startups, took part in the recruitment drive. Key sectors represented included real estate, banking and financial services, fintech, IT and ITeS, edtech, consulting, engineering, manufacturing, automotive, retail, e-commerce, hospitality, and professional services.
Uddipan is a skill development and job portal developed by Ramanbyte Pvt. Ltd. with AICTE support, focusing on helping students from both urban and rural backgrounds apply for jobs and secure internships across industries.
Recruiters offered a wide range of roles during the Mega Job Fair. These included sales and marketing, business development, customer support, and operations. Technical students were considered for positions such as Graduate Engineer Trainee, Diploma Engineer Trainee, design engineer, service engineer, project and site engineer, production engineer, and quality engineer. Commerce and management graduates were assessed for roles including accounts executive, finance associate, and banking and loan processing. Several companies also opened specialized profiles such as AutoCAD specialist, estimation engineer, QC chemist, and HVAC and technical services.
Leading organizations including Flipkart, Eclerx, WNS, Bajaj Housing Finance, Paytm, Axis Bank, D-Mart, Suzlon, Teleperformance, and BVG India conducted interviews, selection rounds, and career interactions during the two-day conclave. Students also received guidance on interview preparation, recruiter expectations, and industry trends.
Speaking on the occasion, Raman Preet, Chairman of PIBM, said companies are increasingly looking for candidates with strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and digital capabilities, along with solid domain knowledge. He added that PIBM is training its students using a structured skill matrix aligned with job descriptions to make them industry-ready.
Apart from recruitment, the Career Conclave also functioned as a knowledge-sharing platform, allowing students to interact with industry leaders and explore career paths aligned with their strengths and interests. Organizers said the initiative helped boost student confidence, expand professional networks, and provide insights into the evolving job market.
The Career Conclave 2025 concluded with a significant number of students receiving job offers, while many others secured interview opportunities. Uddipan and its partners said they plan to continue organizing such platforms to support youth employment and improve industry-academia engagement in Maharashtra.
