Piccadily Unveils India’s First Kashmir-Inspired Luxury Vodka
Move over, traditional vodkas—India just bottled a piece of poetic luxury. Piccadily Agro Industries Limited, the celebrated house behind Indri-Trini (India’s most awarded triple cask single malt) and Camikara (India’s first international gold-winning rum), has uncorked a new chapter in its legacy. Enter Cashmir, India’s first small-batch luxury vodka crafted with heritage organic Indian winter wheat and glacial water from the breathtaking Kashmir Valley.
Launched in May 2025, Cashmir isn’t just another spirit on the shelf, but a sensorial tribute to one of the most evocative regions on Earth. From the blush of Kashmiri apples and the saffron-dusted fields of Pampore to the artistry of papier-mâché and drifting shikaras on Dal Lake, every element of this vodka whispers the valley’s story.
At its heart, Cashmir is purity incarnate, distilled seven times for an impossibly smooth sip and crafted from organic, non-GMO, non-hybrid winter wheat grown on Indian soil. What elevates it to luxury status, however, is its soul: pristine glacial water sourced directly from Kashmir, renowned for its mineral-rich clarity and untouched origins. The result? A vodka so clean, so refined, it doesn’t just complement a cocktail—it elevates it.
Surrinder Kumar, Master Blender at Piccadily and a proud Kashmiri himself, describes the spirit as “a heartfelt tribute to the land,” while CEO Praveen Malviya positions Cashmir as a natural evolution of the company’s mission to redefine Indian luxury on the global spirits stage.
With limited quantities and a focus on sustainability, provenance, and sophistication, Cashmir is poised to make waves in select Indian and global markets. At 42.8% ABV, it’s as bold as it is beautiful—just like the valley it’s named after.
