Preity Zinta Sells Mumbai Bandra Apartment for ₹14.08 Crore
Bollywood actress Preity Zinta has sold her apartment in Mumbai's prestigious Bandra area for ₹14.08 crore, as per property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix. Preity Zinta had initially purchased the same apartment from Keystone Realtors, also known as the Rustomjee Group, in October 2023 for ₹17.01 crore.
The apartment, measuring 1,474 sq ft, is located on the 11th floor of the Parishram building, a project by Rustomjee. According to sources close to Preity Zinta, she plans to reinvest the proceeds from this sale into purchasing another property in Bandra, this time valued at around ₹100 crore.
The apartment, which comes with two car parking spaces, was sold to an individual named Vishal Kalyan Mirchanandi. The transaction was registered on November 21, 2025, with a stamp duty of over ₹16.47 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000, as per the documents.
Preity Zinta's decision to sell the property comes at a time when many Bollywood celebrities are divesting their real estate assets. In recent years, stars such as Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar have been in the news for selling their residential properties.
In 2025, Akshay Kumar sold multiple properties for over ₹100 crore. Similarly, Amitabh Bachchan has been in the news for selling properties worth close to ₹100 crore. Earlier this month, the veteran actor sold two adjoining luxury apartments in Mumbai’s Goregaon for ₹12 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix. These apartments were purchased in 2012 for ₹8.12 crore, giving him a 47% return on investment over 13 years.
Another significant sale by Amitabh Bachchan was his duplex apartment in Mumbai's Andheri area, which he sold for ₹83 crore in January 2025. The 5,185 sq ft RERA carpet area property, located in The Atlantis building, was purchased for ₹31 crore in April 2021, marking an increase of almost 168% in value.
These transactions highlight the dynamic nature of the Mumbai real estate market, where high-value properties are frequently bought and sold by celebrities and affluent individuals. The market's resilience and the strategic decisions of these stars reflect the ongoing interest in prime real estate in Mumbai's most sought-after neighborhoods.
