Preity Zinta Sells Redeveloped Bandra Apartment for ₹18.5 Crore: Second Major Sale in Four Months
The property registration records show that Bollywood star Preity Zinta has sold an apartment in Pali Hill, a district of Bandra, Mumbai, for ₹18.50 crore. Zinta was allotted this apartment in April 2025 after her former building was redeveloped.
This is the second apartment sale by Zinta in the last four months. In November 2025, she sold a 1,474 sq ft apartment on the 11th floor of the Rustomjee Parishram building for over ₹14 crore. Sources close to Zinta reported in December 2025 that she might reinvest the proceeds of the November sale into a new place in the Bandra neighborhood, estimated to cost around ₹100 crore.
In the most recent transaction, Zinta sold another 1,770 sq ft apartment on the same floor of the building on March 2, 2026. The property was acquired by Priya Nagar and Rajeev Nagar, who are US citizens of Indian origin. The sale incurred a stamp duty of ₹1.11 crore and a registration fee of ₹30,000.
Zinta has owned property in the building for several years. According to CRE Matrix, she bought her present home on the 11th storey through an allotment process after the building was redeveloped. 'Under a redevelopment agreement between the society and the developer (Keystone Realtors/Rustomjee), the flat was officially allotted to her as Permanent Alternate Accommodation. This arrangement was formalised in an agreement executed on October 23, 2023,' CRE Matrix said.
A message was sent to Preity Zinta for comment, but it was not answered. If a response is received, the story will be updated. The buyers were also unable to be contacted for comment.
Other Bollywood stars have also been in the news for selling their residential properties. In 2025, Akshay Kumar sold various properties worth more than ₹100 crore. Similarly, Amitabh Bachchan sold properties in the vicinity of ₹100 crore in 2025.
