Punjab Government Launches Special Camp for Real Estate Clearance Certificates
The Punjab government, in a significant move to enhance transparency and efficiency in the real estate sector, has organized a special camp to issue clearance certificates to 51 promoters and builders. The event, which is the first of its kind, was held on October 16 in Chandigarh and was attended by Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian and Chief Secretary KAP Sinha.
During the camp, the government handed over various documents including colony licences, completion certificates, partial completion certificates, letters of intent, zoning plans, building plans, promoter registration certificates, and lay-out plans to the promoters and builders. This initiative is part of the government's commitment to providing transparent, hassle-free, and corruption-free services to the residents of Punjab.
Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian emphasized that the Chief Minister Mann-led government has taken a proactive step by organizing such a special camp for the first time. He announced that a second camp will be organized at the end of November to further address the pending works of people related to real estate. Mundian highlighted that the department is committed to settling the works of promoters and developers with transparency and on a priority basis.
To facilitate this process, the government has created an email address, [email protected], where any complaints can be made directly. Mundian urged the promoters and developers to support this initiative and strive to provide maximum and high-level facilities to the residents in the projects being developed.
This special camp is a significant step towards improving the real estate sector in Punjab, ensuring that developers and residents have a smoother and more transparent process for obtaining necessary certifications and approvals.
