Rajpath Infracon Sets New Infrastructure Benchmarks with Four Guinness World Records
Pune, 4th March 2026: Rajpath Infracon, a leading organization in road construction and infrastructure development based in Pune, has been honored with the prestigious Build India Infra Award. The company has made history by being the first to set four Guinness World Records in a single campaign.
Mohana Kadam, Executive Director of Rajpath Infracon, received the award from Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari at a function held in Delhi NCR recently. Other dignitaries present on the occasion included former Chairman of the National Highways Authority of India Raghav Chandra, Davinder Singh of Primus Partners, and Aryan and Arnav Kadam.
Rajpath Infracon set an unprecedented record between January 5 and 11, 2026, by achieving four Guinness World Records. These records include the longest continuous stretch of bituminous concrete laid continuously in 24 hours, covering 9.632 km (3 lanes) or 28.89 km of a single lane road near Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, they achieved the highest quantity of bituminous concrete laid in 24 hours, totaling 10,657 metric tonnes. The company also set the record for the longest stretch of bituminous concrete laid continuously, spanning 52.41 km (3 lanes) or 157 km of a single lane road, and the highest quantity of bituminous concrete laid continuously, reaching 57,982 metric tonnes.

The Build India Infra Awards aim to provide a platform for excellence in infrastructure development in the country, encouraging innovation, sustainability, and social impact. The awards are given annually after rigorous evaluation by experts in the field. This year marked the third year of these awards, which have received special support from the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation, and the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
