Sara Ali Khan Leases Out Mumbai Andheri Bungalow for Rs 6.5 Lakh Monthly Rent for School Use
Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan has made a notable move in Mumbai’s real estate space by leasing out her bungalow in Andheri West. The property has been rented for a total value of Rs 4.14 crore over a period of approximately five years, according to documents accessed via CRE Matrix.
Located in the upscale Belscot Co-operative Housing Society in the Old Lokhandwala Complex, the property spans a carpet area of 4,500 sq ft. The deal, registered on March 27, places the rental value at around Rs 144.44 per sq ft, reflecting the premium nature of the location.
The agreement states that the monthly rent will begin at Rs 6.5 lakh. The tenant has also paid a security deposit of Rs 20 lakh. The lease includes a lock-in period of three years, during which the rent will remain fixed. Post this period, the rent is set to increase by 5 percent annually, making it a structured long-term deal for both parties.
Interestingly, the property is not being leased for residential purposes. Reports suggest that it will be used for conducting school-related activities, adding a functional dimension to the transaction. The leave commencement date and rent commencement date are both listed as May 1, 2026.

Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan has also been making headlines for reasons beyond real estate. The actress, who made her debut with Kedarnath in 2018, is known for her frequent visits to religious sites across India. Recently, discussions around temple entry regulations brought her into the spotlight. On March 17, Badri-Kedar Temple Committee Chairman Hemant Dwivedi stated that non-Hindus would be required to submit an affidavit to seek blessings at the Badrinath and Kedarnath temples. He remarked that if Sara expresses her devotion towards Sanatan Dharma and submits the required affidavit, she would be permitted to offer prayers.
Apart from Kedarnath, Sara has visited several prominent religious sites, including the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi, the Mallikarjun Jyotirlinga in Srisailam, and the Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga in Maharashtra.
With her latest property deal and continued public presence, Sara Ali Khan remains firmly in the spotlight, balancing her professional commitments with personal and spiritual pursuits.
