Vascon Engineers Expands in Pune with Rs 3,000 Crore EPC Order Book and Major Real Estate Projects
Pune, 17th September 2025: Vascon Engineers Ltd. (VASCONEQ), a Pune-headquartered EPC and real estate company with a legacy of nearly four decades, has unveiled its strategic growth outlook with a clear emphasis on strengthening its footprint in Pune and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The company highlighted a strong EPC order book of nearly ₹3,000 crore and an upcoming real estate pipeline that will drive growth over the next two years.
Pune Projects at the Core of Growth
In Pune, Vascon has consolidated its presence with key EPC projects, including the Pune Police Staff Quarters valued at ₹262 crore, a hospital building at Moshi, Pimpri Chinchwad worth ₹277 crore, and a PMRDA housing project of ₹96 crore. Collectively, these projects underline Pune’s role as one of the company’s most important markets.
On the real estate side, Pune continues to be a major growth driver. Ongoing projects include Tower of Ascend at Kharadi and GoodLife at Talegaon. Vascon is also planning a large-scale project at Kalyani Nagar, expected to generate a Gross Development Value (GDV) of around ₹1,700 crore. Overall, the Pune real estate pipeline represents approximately 1.3 million sq. ft. of development, with an estimated sales value between ₹1,700–2,000 crore under the joint venture model.
Balanced Strategy Between EPC and Real Estate
Commenting on the company’s plans, Siddharth Vasudevan Moorthy, Managing Director, Vascon Engineers Ltd., said: “Pune and Mumbai remain our strongest markets, and we see significant growth opportunities here. With a robust EPC order book of nearly ₹3,000 crore and plans to add another ₹2,000 crore by the end of this financial year, coupled with a healthy real estate pipeline, we are confident of scaling our growth trajectory. Our strength lies in balancing the EPC and real estate businesses while ensuring quality and financial discipline.”
Mumbai Redevelopment and Western India Pipeline
While Pune anchors Vascon’s EPC and real estate operations, Mumbai complements this growth with its redevelopment-led housing strategy. Projects like Vascon Orchids at Santacruz, Prakash CHS at Santacruz West, and an upcoming Powai residential development (₹425 crore sales potential) are expected to contribute nearly 50% of the company’s real estate portfolio by FY27.
Meanwhile, the EPC business continues to operate at 85% capacity utilization, supported by projects across Maharashtra and other states. Key government contracts, such as medical colleges, IT parks, and industrial projects, remain integral to its pan-India presence.
Pune as the Growth Engine
With more than 225 projects delivered across India, Vascon Engineers continues to strengthen its reputation for quality and timely delivery. Pune, in particular, is positioned as the company’s growth engine, contributing both high-value EPC projects and large-scale real estate ventures that are set to shape the city’s urban landscape over the next two years.
