Aadhar Housing Finance Eyes Sustained Growth of Over 20% in Disbursements and Asset Base
Real Estate News:Aadhar Housing Finance is confident of sustaining its growth momentum, with disbursements and assets under management (AUM) expected to grow at over 20% this year. This comes after the company reported a 20% growth in disbursements and 23-24% growth in AUM over the past two years.

Rishi Anand, MD and CEO of Aadhar Housing Finance, expressed optimism about the company's growth prospects, citing a huge demand for housing loans in the economically weaker section (EWS) and low-income group (LIG) segments. I don't see any reason why we should not be able to maintain these matrices, he said.

The company's disbursements for FY24 stood at ₹7,072 crore, up 20% over last year, while AUM increased nearly 23% to ₹21,121 crore. The number of loans disbursed increased 14% to 2,66,019, while the average ticket size improved nearly 8% to ₹7,93,966.

Aadhar Housing Finance serves semi-urban and urban locations, and Anand does not expect any challenges on growth in these areas. He cited a Reserve Bank of India (RBI) report that highlighted a total unit shortfall of 10 crore units in the country, with 9.5 crore units in the EWS and LIG segments.

The company's net interest margins (NIMs) were at 9% for FY24, with the cost of funds at 8.4% compared to 7.3% YoY. Its January-March net interest margin was 9.3%. The current market capitalization of the company is ₹14,557 crore.
