The primary goal is to integrate the new aviation hub with the National Capital Region (NCR) and beyond, ensuring seamless and sustainable access for passengers and freight.
Key projects include a six-lane, access-controlled expressway connecting the airport with Greater Noida and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, as well as improvements to village roads for last-mile connectivity.
The infrastructure is being designed with recycled materials and green construction protocols, aiming to reduce vehicular congestion and promote cleaner mobility. The Noida airport is envisioned as India’s first net-zero emissions airport.
Special attention is being paid to ensuring that the road links benefit surrounding rural economies by improving access to healthcare, education, and markets. Fair compensation and transparent rehabilitation processes are also promised for land acquisition.
The long-term benefits include decongesting Delhi and Noida, reducing travel time, and shifting economic gravity southward towards western UP. This is expected to catalyse employment and investment in Tier-II towns along the corridor, aligning with India’s goals of balanced regional growth.
