The two real estate agents arrested were Ramesh Sharma and Ibrahim Mohammed alias Mamla.
The land encroached upon was 2.10 acres, which was attached by the Enforcement Directorate and mortgaged to the State Bank of India (SBI).
The accused were booked for occupying the land using fake title documents and threatening the public.
The landowner is Manoj Kumar Agarwal, who admitted to selling the property to Punam Vyas with the assistance of the accused real estate agents.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is a federal law enforcement agency in India responsible for investigating financial crimes. The land in question was attached by the ED in connection with a financial crime.
