The operation, which took place on Sunday evening, saw the arrest of Ramesh Sharma and Ibrahim Mohammed alias Mamla. The duo, along with a gang of real estate agents, allegedly encroached on 2.10 acres of land belonging to Manoj Kumar Agarwal. Adilabad Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) L Jeevan Reddy confirmed the arrests and provided details of the operation. According to him, the accused used fake title documents to claim ownership of the land. The landowner, Manoj Kumar Agarwal, admitted to selling the property to Punam Vyas with the assistance of Ibrahim and others.
A case was registered against Ramesh Sharma, Ibrahim Mohammed, Yathendranath, Hithendranath, Rakesh Sharma, Manoj Kumar Agarwal, Punam Vyas, Anuman Vyas, Shivaji, and another person. They are charged with occupying the land using fraudulent documents and threatening the public.
