Advocate Suspected in Kharar Realtor Murder: Inside the Tragic Incident
Real Estate News:A tragic incident occurred in Kharar on the night of September 12, where a property dealer, Harvinder Singh alias Honey, was allegedly killed with a sharp-edged weapon by an advocate named Mukand Bhaskar. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community and has led to the arrest of the accused.

Police received a call about an attack on two individuals near Gillco Palms, Sector 115, Kharar. Upon arriving at the scene, they found Harvinder Singh dead, while the other victim was taken to the civil hospital in Phase 6, Mohali for treatment.

Monika, Harvinder's wife and a resident of Skylark Enclave, Kharar, provided a detailed account of the events leading up to her husband's death. She stated that Harvinder left home around 8 PM on September 12 and told her he would return in an hour. When he didn't return, she called him at 10 PM. Harvinder informed her that he was at a friend's place in Shivalik City and would be home soon.

Around 2 AM, Monika called again and heard voices in the background, one of which she recognized as that of Lucky, a friend of Harvinder's. She then fell asleep and woke up at 5 AM, only to find her husband's phone switched off. Monika called Lucky, but he did not answer. Around 7:20 AM, an unknown person answered Lucky's phone and asked her to come to the market near the main gate of Skylark Enclave.

Monika rushed to the location and found Harvinder lying dead in a pool of blood. Eyewitnesses and police officers at the scene informed her that another individual, seriously injured, was taken to the civil hospital. Monika alleged that her husband was recently in conflict with Mukand Bhaskar, a friend of Lucky. According to her, Mukand and Harvinder had frequent arguments, and even she was threatened by Mukand in the past. Monika firmly believes that Mukand Bhaskar was responsible for her husband's death.

She also identified a car parked at the crime scene — a WagonR with registration number DL-5-CK-7912 — as belonging to Mukand Bhaskar. The victim, Harvinder Singh, leaves behind two children, adding to the tragedy of the situation.

Based on the complaint and evidence at the site, the police registered a case against Mukand Bhaskar under sections 103 and 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The arrest of the accused has brought some relief to the family and the community, but the incident has left a lasting impact on the residents of Kharar.
