Ahmedabad's Residential Market Sees Promising Trends: 8% Decline in Inventory and Steady Sales
Real Estate News:Ahmedabad, one of India's fastest-growing cities, has seen a promising trend in its residential market in the first half of 2024. According to a report jointly launched by Anarock Group and CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Association of India) Ahmedabad, the city has witnessed an 8% decline in inventory levels compared to the same period in 2023. This decline is attributed to the launch of over 17,360 new residential units and sales of approximately 22,850 units in the first half of 2024.

The report highlights that Ahmedabad has beaten Chennai and Kolkata in terms of residential unit sales, with the city ranking eighth in the country. In 2023, the residential real estate sales volume across Ahmedabad saw its highest-ever peak of nearly 40,020 units. The city also saw a significant increase in new launches, with around 42,310 units launched in 2023 compared to 36,515 in 2022.
