The main goal of the health camps is to provide essential medical services and health education to underserved rural communities in Telangana, where access to healthcare is limited.
Over 90 villagers received free consultations, diagnostic tests, essential medicines, and health education during the health camps.
The health camps provided general health check-ups, screenings for blood pressure and hemoglobin levels, and the distribution of free medicines. Health education sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care were also conducted.
The nearest Primary Health Centres are located over 10 kilometers away from the villages of Ganeshpahad and Shunyapahad.
The collaboration between Ambuja Cements and the Adani Foundation demonstrates a community-centric approach to healthcare, bringing essential medical services closer to rural communities and promoting public-health collaboration and community engagement.
