Amitabh Bachchan Acquires Fourth Property Near Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan continues to expand his real estate portfolio with a significant investment in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The 82-year-old actor, known for his iconic roles in films like Piku and his hosting of the popular TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), has recently acquired his fourth plot in the city, near the sacred Ram Janmabhoomi temple. The property, which covers an expansive 25,000 square feet, was reportedly purchased for a staggering ₹40 crore.

This latest acquisition is not the first time Big B has invested in Ayodhya. He has a history of making strategic real estate investments in the city. Previously, he invested ₹14.50 crore in the upscale Sarayu real estate project. Just days before the inauguration of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, he bought a 5,372-square-foot plot for ₹4.54 crore.

Recently, he acquired another plot spanning 54,000 square feet, registered under his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s trust. Reports suggest that he intends to construct a memorial for his late father on this land, further solidifying his connection to the city.

Ayodhya, known for its rich cultural and spiritual heritage, is well-connected to nearby cities, including Prayagraj (formerly Allahabad), the birthplace of Big B. However, other reports suggest that his wealth is around $400 million, which is approximately ₹3,669 crore.
