Job Description and Requirements
PQE: 4-6 Years
Location: Bhubaneshwar
AQUILAW is looking for Real Estate lawyers who are adept in conducting title diligence, rendering opinions, advising on real estate transactions, and drafting, negotiating, finalizing, and procuring the registration of legal documents. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of real estate law and the ability to handle a wide range of transactions and legal documents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting title diligence and rendering opinions on real estate transactions.
- Drafting, negotiating, finalizing, and procuring the registration of legal documents, including title reports, agreements, and deeds.
- Interacting with Revenue Officers, the Office of the Sub-Registrar, and other government authorities to facilitate clients' work.
- Engaging in client interface with confidence and professionalism.
- Possessing in-depth knowledge and practical experience with Land laws, Municipal Laws, the Transfer of Property Act, 1882, the Registration Act, 1908, the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, the Orissa Land Reforms (OLR) Act, 1960, the Odisha Development Authorities Act, 1982, and other related laws.
- Analyzing land title deeds, revenue records, and other land documents.
- Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English and Odia.
