Mumbai-based luxury real estate developer Arkade Developers' shares jumped 4 percent following the announcement of a new residential project in Thane, Maharashtra, valued at ₹2,000 crore.

With a market capitalisation of Rs. 3,648 Crore, the stock of Arkade Developers opened at Rs. 192.10, around the same level as the previous day’s close. After opening, it reached a high of Rs. 199.45, up 4.17 percent. Additionally, since its listing, the stock has provided a return of 27 percent.
The company has announced its strategic entry into Thane with the acquisition of a 6.28-acre land parcel at Kasarvadavali, Ghodbunder Road. The land acquisition is valued at Rs. 172.48 crore (including stamp duty) and will support the development of a mixed-use project with a projected GDV of Rs. 2,000 crore and a RERA saleable area of 9.26 lakh sq. ft. The project is scheduled for launch in early 2026.
The development will feature thoughtfully designed 2, 3, and 4 BHK residences alongside retail and commercial spaces, offering scenic views of Sanjay Gandhi National Park and benefiting from excellent connectivity through Ghodbunder Road and upcoming infrastructure like Metro Line 4 and the Thane-Borivali twin tunnel.
Further, the Company’s CMD, Mr. Amit Jain, highlighted the company’s strategic expansion into Thane, citing the area’s rapid infrastructure growth as a major opportunity. He emphasised their focus on delivering well-designed, community-oriented developments aligned with the rising demand for luxury housing. He also noted FY25 as a landmark year, marked by the acquisition of a prime 4-acre Goregaon land parcel with an estimated GDV of Rs. 3,000 crore.
