Ashiana Housing is developing a senior living project, which will include both villas and apartments, on a 23-acre land in Chennai. The project is expected to generate Rs 1,200 crore in revenue.
The land for the senior living project is located within the Mahindra World City complex in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It is adjacent to Ashiana's existing project, 'Ashiana Vatsalya'.
The new senior living project is expected to have a saleable area of approximately 15 lakh square feet.
Ashiana Housing's sales bookings increased by 83% to Rs 430.97 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, driven by higher demand. The company sold 5.95 lakh square feet in the April-June period of this fiscal.
