Fortunately, the injuries sustained by the victims are non-life-threatening, and they are currently receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital. The official stated that the driver's intoxication contributed to the incident, resulting in the filing of a case against him.

Initial reports suggest that the young driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to a collision with a barricade, which caused one of the wheels to detach and subsequently collide with an auto. Vishal Hire, assistant commissioner of police from Pimpri Chinchwad, explained the sequence of events.

The individual responsible for the accident has been charged under the Indian Penal Code and Motor Vehicles Act, the official confirmed. This incident comes shortly after another tragic accident in Pune's Kalyani Nagar area, where two individuals lost their lives after a Porsche, driven by a 17-year-old minor allegedly under the influence, collided with a two-wheeler about a month ago.

Meanwhile, in a latest update in the Pune Porsche accident, new CCTV camera footage has been obtained by the police, which depicts an employee of Sassoon General Hospital implicated in a scheme to switch the juvenile driver's blood samples, allegedly receiving a bribe. Police sources disclosed that Atul Ghatkamble, a hospital employee, received the bribe from a middleman named Ashpak Makandar.
