BJP's Allies Face Trouble in Key States: Ruchir Sharma's Election Analysis
Real Estate Maharashtra:Ruchir Sharma, a renowned investor and election analyst, has predicted that the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) allies are in trouble in key states such as Bihar, Karnataka, and Maharashtra. Sharma, who has been tracking Indian elections for over two decades, stated that the seat split in Maharashtra will be 50-50 between the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and the Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi (MVA), but the real loss will be in the BJP's allies - the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena.

Sharma's analysis is based on his travel to various states, including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Maharashtra. He observed that the narrative is very different in each state, with unique concerns and leaders emerging.

In Andhra Pradesh, Sharma noted that the national parties are irrelevant, and the focus is on regional leaders such as Jagan Mohan Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu. The BJP is piggybacking on the back of Chandrababu Naidu and film star Pawan Kalyan. In Karnataka, the Congress and the BJP are slugging it out, with the Janata Dal (Secular) (JDS) seemingly wiped out.

The BJP's allies are facing significant challenges in Maharashtra, with the NCP and Shiv Sena splitting and confusion reigning supreme. There is some sympathy for Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar, but it remains to be seen how the votes will be cast.

The BJP has allied with various regional parties in different states, including Ajit Pawar's NCP and Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena in Maharashtra, Nitish Kumar's JDU and Chirag Paswan's LJP in Bihar, HD Kumaraswamy's JDS in Karnataka, and Chandrababu Naidu's Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh.
