Bollywood Star Tamannaah Bhatia Invests in ₹24 Crore Retail Space in Mumbai
Real Estate News:Bollywood actress Tamannaah Bhatia has made a significant investment in the Mumbai real estate market by purchasing retail space worth ₹24 crore in Andheri West locality. According to property registration documents accessed through real estate data aggregation platform Zapkey.com, the actress has acquired a total of 2,197 square feet of retail space in Bharat Altavista tower.

The ₹24-crore deal includes one unit each on the ground and first floors of the tower, alongside two parking slots. Real estate sources revealed that the actress has bought the property for investment purposes, with plans to lease it out in the future.

The space acquired on the ground floor has a carpet area of 900 square feet, while the larger unit on the first floor spreads across 1,297 square feet. Bharat Realty Ventures Pvt Ltd is listed as the seller, while Tamannaah Gems and Jewellery Limited, a company owned by the actress, is the buyer. Bhatia runs a jewelry line called WitenGold, with her parents as co-directors in the venture.

This is not the actress's first foray into the Mumbai real estate market. Earlier in June, she registered two additional deals, including a 6,065-sq ft commercial property rented in Mumbai's prime Juhu area for ₹18 lakh per month, and three residential units in Andheri West mortgaged to Indian Bank for ₹7.84 crore.

Mumbai's property market has long been a favored destination for Bollywood celebrities, who see it as a lucrative investment opportunity. The city offers high rental yields in commercial properties and capital appreciation of residential real estate, making it an attractive proposition for investors. Other celebrities who have invested in Mumbai's real estate market include Sara Ali Khan, Kartik Aaryan, and the Bachchan family, who have made headlines with their recent purchases.
