The commercial property, covering an area of 6065 square feet, has been rented for a period of five years. The rent is scheduled to increase to Rs 20.16 lakh in the fourth year and Rs 20.96 lakh in the fifth year. The deal, registered on June 27, 2024, required a security deposit of Rs 72 lakh.
Meanwhile, Indian Bank has acquired a mortgage for Rs 7.84 crore, secured by the three apartments in a residential building located on Veera Desai Road in Andheri West, Mumbai. The transaction was registered on June 14, 2024, and a stamp duty of Rs 4.7 lakh was paid.
The apartments, situated in Andheri West's Lokhandwala Complex, cover an area of 2595 square feet. Tamannaah's investment in real estate is not an isolated incident. Several Bollywood celebrities, including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Manoj Bajpayee, have invested in real estate.
Experts attribute the rise in real estate investments to Mumbai's residential real estate capital appreciation and high rental income on commercial assets. Amitabh Bachchan bought two opulent flats in Borivali for about Rs 7 crore, while his son Abhishek Bachchan purchased six residential units on the same floor for Rs 15.42 crore.
