Bollywood Star Tamannaah Bhatia's Real Estate Deal: Mortgages Three Flats and Rents Commercial Space
Real Estate:Bollywood star Tamannaah Bhatia has made a significant investment in Mumbai's real estate market. According to property registration paperwork accessed by Propstack, a real estate data analytics firm, Tamannaah has mortgaged three residential flats in Andheri West for a whopping Rs 7.84 crore. Additionally, she has rented a commercial property in Mumbai's affluent Juhu district for Rs 18 lakh a month.

The commercial property, located in Western Wind on Juhu Tara Road, spans 6065 square feet and has been rented for a period of five years. The rental agreement includes a clause for annual increments, with the rent rising to Rs 20.16 lakh in the fourth year and Rs 20.96 lakh in the fifth year. The deal also includes a security deposit of Rs 72 lakh.

Meanwhile, Tamannaah has also mortgaged three apartments in a residential building located on Veera Desai Road in Andheri West, Mumbai, to Indian Bank for Rs 7.84 crore. The apartments, situated in the Lokhandwala Complex, cover an area of 2595 square feet.

Tamannaah is not the only Bollywood celebrity to invest in real estate. Several other notable stars, including Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Manoj Bajpayee, have also made significant investments in the sector. Experts attribute the rise of real estate investments among Bollywood celebrities to Mumbai's high residential property capital appreciation and high rental income on commercial assets.

In recent months, the Bachchan family has made headlines with their real estate investments. Amitabh Bachchan purchased two opulent flats in the Borivali area of Mumbai for about Rs 7 crore, while his son Abhishek Bachchan paid Rs 15.42 crore for six residential units on the same floor. Additionally, Amitabh Bachchan bought three office buildings in Andheri West for over Rs 60 crore.
