The Noida International Film City is a proposed film and entertainment hub spanning 1,000 acres, with the first phase covering 230 acres in Sector 21 on Yamuna Expressway. It is expected to be completed in eight years at a cost of ₹1,510 crore.
The key developers are filmmaker Boney Kapoor and developer Bhutani Infra-backed firm Bayview Projects.
The film city will include film production studios, post-production units, a commercial hub, a film institute for training, a retail outlet, a village, a film museum, and a world-class golf course.
The film city is expected to create 5-7 lakh jobs, both directly and indirectly, and significantly boost Uttar Pradesh's industrial growth, contributing to the state's goal of becoming a $1 trillion economy.
