A Brampton man, already facing multiple fraud charges, is now under intensified scrutiny as dozens more alleged victims come forward in a widespread real estate fraud scheme. Moiz Kunwar, 28, is accused of collecting deposits for pre-construction homes he had no authority to sell.

Moiz Kunwar is a 28-year-old Brampton man accused of collecting deposits for pre-construction homes he had no authority to sell, using a company name similar to a legitimate developer.
Kunwar is facing three additional counts of fraud over $5,000 and three counts of possession of property obtained by crime, in addition to previous charges from February and March.
At least 40 to 50 people have come forward, with more potential victims expected to come forward according to police.
The civil lawsuits claim Kunwar defrauded victims of nearly $570,000 and are seeking both repayment and damages.
