The primary investors in Brookfield India REIT's QIP issue are Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
Brookfield India REIT has raised Rs 3,500 crore through this QIP issue.
The funds raised will be used to acquire new properties, refurbish and upgrade existing assets, and enhance the overall value of the trust's portfolio. BIREIT also plans to expand its presence in Tier I and Tier II cities and invest in sustainable and technologically advanced properties.
