A realtor in Thiruverkadu, Chennai, was brutally hacked to death by a group of men, including his wife and her lover, over a financial dispute and extramarital affair. Four people have been arrested in connection with the murder.

The victim was Sivakumar, a 47-year-old realtor from DTS Nagar in Thiruverkadu, Chennai.
The murder was motivated by a financial dispute and an extramarital affair involving Sivakumar's wife and another local man, Suresh.
Four people were arrested: Lal, Mohan, Suresh, and Sivakumar’s wife, Vijayakumari.
CCTV footage from the area helped the Thiruverkadu police identify one of the attackers, Lal, a known history-sheeter.
All four accused—Lal, Mohan, Suresh, and Vijayakumari—are currently in police custody and are being questioned.
