On Saturday night, security guards from the pharmaceutical company allegedly sprayed pepper spray and threw stones at the guards from the real estate company. The situation worsened when one of the bouncers from the pharmaceutical company fired a gun, leading to a police intervention and the arrest of 41 individuals.
The real estate company had previously registered an FIR against the pharmaceutical company officials for refusing to vacate the plot despite a court ruling. The Bombay High Court has imposed a status quo, and an FIR was registered following the recent violent clash.
The 41 individuals arrested in connection with the incident were produced before the court and remanded to police custody for a day. The Agripada police are investigating the case further.
