The latest case was filed by Vilas Dayaram Patil (51, resident of Navi Sangvi) at Sangvi Police Station, alleging that Ideal English Medium School's director, Chandrakant Khodade, operated the school without authorization from April 2024 to 17th July 2024. During this period, the school collected fees from parents by admitting students unauthorizedly, deceiving the government, students, and parents.
The complaint states that the school forged educational documents, violating Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) Sections 318 (cheating) and 336 (forgery). Police Sub Inspector Khalate from Sangvi Police Station is investigating the matter further.
Earlier, cases were registered against Shrey Kumar of Little Stars English Medium School in Chinchwad, and J D'Costa (residing in Bangalore) and Sameer Gorde (residing in Viman Nagar) of Orchids The International School.
